Downtown Raleigh Restaurant Week (let’s call it #drrw to keep it short and sweet) is starting today! So, what exactly is DRRW? The creative culinary minds of downtown Raleigh’s local restaurants will be showcasing their expertise by creating special dishes for the whole week.
Last week, we sampled a few of the offerings from local restaurants at the DRRW menu showcase at Vidrio Raleigh. Here are all things vegetarian we tried:
919, the drink created by Vidrio Raleigh Meyer Lemon Posset from The London Bridge Pub Curried Vegetable Pasties from The London Bridge Pub A spread of what can be expected from all participating downtown Raleigh restaurants Chilled Sweet corn soup from Plates Neighborhood Kitchen Beautiful glass art wall at Vidrio Raleigh, Glenwood Avenue Summer Panzanella Salad from The Overlook Black Sesame ice cream from Tonbo Ramen Another shot of 919 from Vidrio
Okay, now we’ve got your attention with some mouth-watering pics, here are some more deets, including the list of restaurants where there are vegetarian offerings.
NOTE: We have skipped restaurants that did not have at least one vegetarian option in each course.
