The 2020 holiday season is upon us and this year things looks very different due to the pandemic. While a lot of local restaurants are still hurting, all we can do is help them in any way we can, if we are in a position to do so.
We understand and realize that not everyone is in a position to do this by spending their money on local businesses, but that’s just one of the ways you can support them. You can also help them by sharing about them on social media with friends and family. We also encourage you to call your local senators and ask them to provide relief measures to help small businesses.
A couple of weeks ago, one of our Instagram followers asked us if we knew any places in the triangle offering vegetarian-friendly family-style take out meals for Christmas.
We put on our thinking hats and got in touch with some of our favorite local restaurants and some new-to-us restaurants for their Christmas special take out menu. This blog post has a list of restaurants in the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and Burlington areas that are offering either family-style dinners or individual meals for Christmas eve and Christmas.
